Lost: I’m Invested.
One night I went to Target to buy myself a new movie to watch. Instead I came home with Season 1 of Lost. I pretty much marathoned through it for the next few days and now I am invested. Both invested in the show because I honestly like it, and also invested by the fact that I now own all 3 seasons. I am invested into Lost $150 bucks and numerous hours of couch potato time. ( I haven’t watched all of Season 3 yet so don’t ruin it for me!)

Well it turns out that I picked the right time to get hooked on LOST because Season 4 starts up next week. Because of the strike there are 8 finished episodes ready to go so far for the upcoming season. So that gives us TV junkies something to look forward to in this writer’s strike wasteland of primetime televison. Don’t worry I will be able to finish Season 3 in time to watch 4…
Also! Lost fans should tune into ABC on Jan 30th to get a extra-special viewing of the Season 3 finale. Word is that the episode will include fun facts, information and clues about the show on the bottom third of the screen. So definately set your TiVo’s for that in addition to the January 31st Season 4 premiere.
Anyone else out there a Lost fan?

Random: The History of Diet Coke
“Back in the 1980’s right before Coca Cola was set to change its formula to the failed “New Coke” it released Diet Coke. Here is the thing, Diet Coke was based on the New Coke formula only with artificial sweetener instead of sugar. That is correct, Diet Coke is the infamous “New Coke” formula still to this day. Coke Zero is the first time that the original Coca-Cola formula has been used in a diet soft drink, so in other words Coke Zero is original Coca-Cola Classic only with artificial sweetener and Diet Coke is the “New Coke” formula with artificial sweetener and because so many people would freak out if the taste of Diet Coke changed the product was called Coke Zero. “
I am a Diet Coke addict. That’s why I found that so interesting when reading one of my favorite blogs. You just learn the most interesting random facts while poking around the internet. Happy Friday!

Listen: OneRepublic “Stop and Stare”
Go.
Right Now.
Go buy OneRepublic’s cd “Dreaming Out Loud.”
I am reccomending it with a 4 star annie.in.mn approval status.
My friend Sarah just told me that I needed to listen to OneRepublic and let me tell you, she was right. You might recognize their song “Apoligize” from current radio play, but my personal favorite is “Stop and Stare.” Stop and Stare has also been recently getting more radio play as well. But don’t wait to hear it on the radio. Just go buy it. You will want the whole cd…
Their hit Apoligize was remixed by Timbaland and included on his most recent cd. (I swear Timbaland can make ANYTHING a hit. That man knows what people want. It’s amazing.) Anyways…that song broke records in the UK where it was called “the most popular song in radio history” and in the US where it “recieved more airplay than any other song in Top 40 history.”
Ok…it gets better. Not only do they have a freaking awesome cd…they are also coming to Minnesota February 19th! WOOOO! Here are the details. I will definately be there.
