Music: AutoVaughn “The Cycles”

Ok, let me tell you about my very favorite band, AutoVaughn. Ok, maybe they are tied for favorites with Rooney, but regardless, they rock more than you could even believe. And they definitely stand the test of time because in the last year I think I have listened to their album at least once a week…sometimes more. That really means something to me, when I can listen to it over and over and over and still love it like the first time I heard it.

Well…now they are releasing a new EP! YAY!

It is coming out May 9th! And it better be on iTunes asap, because I just dont know if I can wait for it. Really. They are also having a Album release party on May 9th in Nashville, which you should really check out if you are in the area. I honestly even looked at plane tickets, just because I would love to go and I desperately want to see them live again.

New Amsterdam: Season 2? Sadly, No.

Anyone know if New Amsterdam has gotten picked up for a second season? I am so curious to find out! Please let me know if you have any info!

Prison Break: Season 4 Scoop!

Still no word as to when the Prison Break Season 3 dvds come out. I love the image above from Amazon. You can go there and request to be alerted with any new information regarding the PB3 dvds too. But I did see on my favorite spoilers site that TV Guide’s Ausiello gave a mini-scoop on Season 4.

Question: Got any Season 4 Prison Break scoop? — Taylor
Ausiello: Two new players in the war between Scofield and the Company will be introduced in the season premiere. On one side we have Don, an FBI handler who offers Michael a way to bring down the Company once and for all. And on the other side we have Penrab, the Company’s top assassin who’s waiting on the sidelines for his chance to attack.

Hmmm…interesting. Anyone else wish Kellerman would come back? I kind of do. He was a great bad guy…still no Benjamin Linus, but definitely a great bad guy. I do miss this show. I am very interested to see how they change things up for Season 4…and Sara’s return.

Fashion: NYC Tee from SJP’s Bitten

My friend CaJo and I went across town last night to hit up some of the stores that we typically never get to shop at. There are few things that Annie.in.MN loves more than New York City…and so when we came across this Manhattan tee from Sarah Jessica Parker’s Bitten clothing line….I had to have it! It has all the neighboorhoods written out in graphic text. Love it. Overall I wasn’t all that impressed with the Bitten line, but this was a fun find. Check out more stuff at the Bitten’s Website.

Lost: The Shape of Things to Come

Well this week of Lost absolutely shocked me. Alex is dead? Smokey is controlled by Ben? Widmore can’t be killed? WTF?

Um Helloooooooo Dwight! Making out with a random girl! Wow.

Well, I asked for more Kelly Kapoor and this week they actually gave the girl some lines! Yay! For instance, “I have a lot of questions. Number One: How dare you?” Kelly Kapoor cracks me up. I hope we get to see more of her in the future. (And also, is she still dating Darryl?)

Oh Michael Scott, please stop being so desperate. Honestly. I can’t take too many more episodes based on your singleness. I did however LOVE the gum stuck in his hair. The look on his face when Dwight was massaging the peanut butter just kills me. Hilarious! So great. And I love that he got the gum in it when leaning down and seeing something shiny. So Michael. I love it.

Ryan Howard is an ass. He just thinks he is Mr. Big Man in NYC. When really he is struggling up there, you can tell by the way he’s acting that he is lonely and now on drugs…ugh. When did The Office become so much about these serious topics? Drugs. Relationship Drama. etc. I miss the happy-go-lucky days of The Dundies and Office Olympics. What happened to inappropriate Office-related drama? Like Diversity Day and Health Care?

I was definitely shocked with Toby touching Pam’s leg! Gasp worthy. We have always known that Toby secretly has a thing for Pam, but I never really thought he would actually move on it. Wow. And right in front of everyone in the office and her boyfriend too! Yikes. I am interested to see if there is any fallout from that event in later episodes.
