Prison Break: Photo Finish & Vamonos Recaps

This show just is freaking awesome. I can’t believe the twists and turns we have encountered so far this season. It is almost too much. (Lets just hope the writer’s strike doesn’t go on too long, the only thing that would make my blood pressure rise any higher than watching the show is when they make me wait longer than a week between cliffhangers! )

So…Michael knows Sara is dead. Lincoln told him. Finally. I just don’t know what to think about this. So far Michael has always been the good guy. Will revenge on Sarah’s death really be the thing to drive the whole season? I almost don’t even know if he would be willing to keep on. I know that they had to adjust the episodes due to the World Series schedules, but I think these two episodes would have been stronger as two separate weeks. I think the viewer was robbed some of the intensity and heartbreak and emotion that Michael was going through because we knew that there was one more hour. I really don’t think I have ever seen Michael get this angry before. Wow.

I really do believe that he wants to kill Whistler. It is so well done, nice work Wentworth Miller. You captured this audience. A quick issue I have with things lately though is why does everything they say lately seem to have to be said in a low toned angry whisper. I know you don’t want people to hear you and I know you are threatening people, but come on!
Here is some more Michael getting ready to kick some ass. Dang. (Doesn’t the guy in the red look like he should be at a basketball game or something? haha)

I was disappointed at the extremely quick way they brushed over the fact that Michael found out that Sara was dead. I know he had other things on his mind, like the whole escape plan…but let’s be real here. I am glad that they had Bellick discussing Sara and giving him some heart. I had sort of forgotten about Bellick knowing Sara and that it would affect him to hear this news.

I really enjoyed seeing Sucre take one for the team and put his car in front of the van. I am still worried about him and the fact that he took that money from those untrustworthy looking guys last week. But I am glad to see that he will do what it takes to help the brothers. I was really really REALLY hoping and believing that he might sneak up behind the guy who had a gun to LJ’s head so that he could save the day for Lincoln. That would be just too easy wouldn’t it? They already had the convenient ending to the Whistler/Scofield fight when the siren went off. Lucky, Lucky boys. Although I really did think that Whistler was going to kill Michael, didn’t you? I don’t trust him. But really, with the way he lied to Michael I barely trust Lincoln right now and he is one of my favorite characters.

Who do you think will step into the reign of power at Sona? My prediction…none other than my favorite bad guy…T-Bag. That’s my guess. We will see what happens next I suppose…

And then what does Prison Break love more than anything else?? oh yes! A cliffhanger ending that makes you want to say WTF?? What is going on now???? Well that’s what happened tonight….
SPOILER PHOTO below, don’t look if you haven’t seen the Vamonos episode. To see it click

Look who just happens to be friends????
oh yeah! Susan Beeeotch Anthony and Whistler himself. screenshot_8.png
So of course this just makes me more confused and perplexed. What is going on? Who is conning who anymore? Thoughts???

Also….we finally get Michael to change into a clean shirt next week? Let’s hope so! Visit Just Jared to see the pics!

Lucky for us it appears the writer’s strike won’t effect Prison Break, at least those are the rumors I have been hearing so far.

Great recap, Annie! In my opinion, these were the episodes I’ve been waiting for all season long. I know what you mean about the hushed tones and subdued acting…thank GOD both Michael and LJ let it all out this week.
As for the Sucre and the bodyguard, I was waiting for Whistler’s girl to step out of the bushes with her gun and get him. But no…I couldn’t decide if Lincoln was just paralyzed from fear for his son, and that’s what kept him from pulling the trigger, or if he is just a big wuss. I’ll admit, in the end, I was leaning towards “wuss”.

Thanks essaytch! I never even thought about Whistler’s girl showing up. Hmmm. That would have been great. I think Lincoln just doesnt know what to do anymore. I think he is just too worried about LJ. Its affecting his determination. I think he is going to blow up at some point. He’s been going for too long holding too much in…Sara, Michael, LJ, dealing with Susan, Sofia and trying to pull everything off alone. He is not the tough guy that he used to be anymore. I think he has a breakdown coming. Do you think at some point he will have to choose between Michael and LJ? That might be a place the writers could take this.

Lonman06- I hope the strike doesn’t interfere with PB. I hope they are able to come to an agreement quickly for the sake of everyone involved…writers, actors, management, viewers…everyone…

I’m still waiting to see the rest of the fall-out now that Michael has found out about Sarah. There’s going to be some issues between him and Linc for sure…and I think it’s going to come from Michael, not so much from Linc. Only time will tell! Finally, my favorite show has returned in good form!

I really don’t think we will see the fall-out of it all until after Michael gets out of Sona.

Yeah, YouTube has really cracked down on the copyright stuff!

Oh, and don’t forget, this Monday we should be catching a sneak peek of Michael’s beautiful tattoo again! *sigh* Is it sad that I lust after a fictional character with tattoos that aren’t even real? (don’t answer that!) 🙂

  • 11. hipposkin  |  November 8, 2007 at 9:12 pm

i like you gals! you share the same fascination as i for wentworth miller!

  • 12. annieinmn  |  November 8, 2007 at 11:55 pm

I am very excited to see the tattoo again! Did you check out the link to the Just Jared pictures of it? I miss first season and all the tattoo stuff.

I am glad you guys comment! I started writing about PB on my blog because none of my friends are as big of fans as I am, so its nice to know there are other hardcore Prison Break(and Wentworth) fans out there too! 🙂

I started watching season 1 again recently just cause I missed the tattoo.

  • 14. annieinmn  |  November 9, 2007 at 1:23 pm

Well its good that we all can chat here and be obsessed together…I went to buy season 1 so that I could re-watch it because (gasp!) I dont own it yet, and they dont sell it at Target anymore!

I gave up and decided to order it on Amazon. 🙂 Plus I miss Abruzzi…he was an awesome character.
