mate, that show rocked. it is about as unbelievably great and original as Dexter has been.

acting excellent, story-line excellent. i’ve heard the premise many times, but have never seen that story carried out to such a realistic extent… what really would happen if you lived forever… what would suck, how would people deal with it, what would your relationship with your 81 year old child be like… or wife for that matter. ya, good stuff.

shit, season 1 was detective style, so you basically had a detective show with this other storyline in the background.

imagine, season 2 he could change jobs yet again… and you could have a completely different show. but with a similar premise in the background.

oh well… beautiful show while it lasted… at least it went out on a good note.

Oh my goodness, That is really sad news. I usually start shows and forget about them, but there was something about this show that makes me conitinue to think about it. Everything was thought through and it was a great show. Is there anything that can be done about re-airing the show or is it not an option anymore?

honestly i can say this along with stargate universe and john doe. sould get new seasons.
SGU isnt a bad show just bad directors
the syfy fans dont like it as much becuase they turned it into a galactic soap opera thats why its going down hill. not enough killing and too much caring about killing
the ship it self is a pile of crap they almost never win a fight in space even thu its supose to be the best one theve seen so far….
in the next season they better find a way home and back make it more military like thats what SG is about and the makers of SGU were idiots try try to change it.
as for john doe and new amsterdam nothing was wrong with them
they get horrible spots in the day is all . the rating thing was an excuse to bring a difrent show in it was fked over before it even finished season 1. on both of them

john doe is about a guy who knows EVERYTHING how mnay cookies are in a box that dosnt show or tell u how many and jsut the name , whena personw ill die naturaly , how long the planet has to live ettc ettc etc , only thing is he dosnt know who he is or where hes from if he has a wife or kids and what the hell to do with himself so he fights crime or at least solvs it lol.

Look at Fox’s shows now, Raising Hope, Traffic Light, Bob’s Burgers, TheCleveland Show, Kitchen Nightmares, etc. What a load of crap! No good threads, storylines, etc. And they cancel John Doe and New Amsterdam? Too much junk on TV and nothing much to challenge or make interesting for the viewers. Shame on Fox!

Tell me about it! I love all those shows and the stupid fu(ks at fox dump them! what the hell?? new amsterdam, john doe, and so many others…. i hope fox pulls their heads outta their butts and at least wraps up the loose ends in a movie or 2. geez, even firefly got wrapped up in a movie! they better not do that with fringe or so help me i’ll kill ’em! why are they so friggin stupid?? “oh this one’s gettin’ popular guess we better cancell it! and hey, just for sh!ts and giggles let’s also not answer any questions left at the end! whoo hooo! yeah! let’s piss off some viewers!” dumba$$es.

at least you wont see it become a money grabbing whore if the executives ever watched the fucking show and started sticking their tiny pricks in so they can “make it better” all the while fucking it up like most shows.

well I’m just sad that there isn’t going to be a second season, I thought that the show was very good, much better than most crap on tv these days.
