Random: LifeSavers Popsicles!

Let me introduce you to my very favorite summertime treat!

Seriously I never knew sugar-free anything could taste so awesome. These are the most flavorful sugar-free popsicles ever. Oh and they are only 20 calories each. So you don’t have to feel guilty about eating one or 7 at a time. 🙂

One thing though…in Minnesota they are only sold at SuperTarget and not at Cub Foods. What is that about?

Lifesavers site.

You are right, for sugar free they are delicious.! But my all time favorite several years ago were the Life Saver popsicles that were just one flavor per pack. I think they were lime, tangerine, pineapple, cherry and maybe one other flavor. They had them in regular and sugar free. They were a little more expensive than just your average kid popsicles. I sure wish I knew if they still make those because I love those. They became real hard to find so every time I would go to Kroger I would buy about 4 boxes of them. Now I can’t find them ANYWHERE. AND, they worked great when I was going through menopause and had hot flashes or woke up at night with the sweats. LOL But I loved those popsicles and now I can’t find them anywhere. The tangerine and pineapple were my favorite. I have tried the new ones with the flavors layered one on the other and I do like them but having trouble finding them in Houston also. Do you know who makes either one of these and where? I would like to find out if they still make the old ones. They are great on a hot Texas day here in Houston. Thanks!

When I first started eating Lifesafer Popsicles, I could get them at three different grocery stores. Now, I cannot find them at ANY of the local stores which include: Martin’s Supermarkets, Kroger, Meijer Stores, Super Target.

What gives? Surely you aren’t going out of business!

Popsicle Life Savers are THE best… and have learned through UniLever (manufacturer of Life Savers), they are no longer made. I asked WHY???! And was told by Toni, on 6-1-2009, it was a manufacturing decision to end the production of this product. Join my quest to have Life Savers reintroduced to the markets! Contact UniLever at 1-800-298-5018, or write:
    UniLever Consumer Services
    920 Sylvan Avenue – 2nd Flr
    Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632

BRING BACK LIFE SAVERS! I can’t believe how upset I am at losing this wonderful product…. bought an average of 4 boxes per week. I miss this treat – the flavor, and the fact the Popsicle did not turn your mouth or lips shades of color.

i’ve seen the multi-flavored lifesaver pops, but i’m looking for what i had when i was a kid. where each pop was one flavor and each box had 5 or 6 flavors in them. are they still out there anywhere? i’m not stoned, just really want to find those.
