But you don’t have to wait any longer! The bands for this summer’s Basilica Block Party were announced this week. Check it out below…
July 11th
One Republic, Need to Breathe, Augustana and Dave Barnes
July 12th
Gavin Rossdale, Gin Blossoms, Missy Higgins and Landon Pigg
Tickets go on sale this Saturday. $30 one night, $50 for both nights. VIP tickets start at $125.
Just FYI: The Ticketmaster presale code is: BLOCK
Also, remember to buy your tickets before June 30th to get the cheaper prices!

Are you kidding? That lineup looks HORRIFIC! WTF is going on, anyway? All my favorite summer concert festivals and series have about their worst lineups EVER. This is definitely the worst Basilica lineup I’ve ever seen, and Taste Of Minnesota is offering up REO Speedwagon and Eddie Money – puke! Lumberjack days isn’t much better with Boz Scaggs and Soul Asylum and the BoDeans. And the Zoo concert series has only a couple artists worth seeing, IMO. Looks like the poor economy is hitting concert promoters, like everything else. They can’t even get “B” grade artists.. they have to settle for “D” grade and flunkies. Gonna be a long, hot summer…..

I don’t think it looks so bad!
I think I am definitely going on friday. I LOVE One Republic and Augustana.
Maybe this year just isn’t your year.

Ziggy Marley is gonna be there too.
He ain’t bad.
