WHAT?????????

216chicagosarawentkiss2mk9.jpg

Read below!!! Our favorite druggie doctor might be headed back to our favorite inmate’s arms!!! Hooray!

Prison Break executive producer Matt Olmstead tells TV Guide,”Lincoln glanced at the head in the box for a split second. That could’ve been anyone. He wasn’t about to pull it up from the hair and inspect it closely.”

Olmstead also admitted that the fans affected the decision to bring back Sarah. “…once we started talking about it, it was mentioned again that fans are still wondering about her. And when people who are fans of the show — and of Sarah — are asking, “Is she really dead?”, what they’re saying, essentially, is, “I hope she’s not dead.” more at justjared.com

Also Kristin at E! is confirming this too!!! see it here

I guess this is REALLY happening. Oh the MISA fans will be so very very excited! 🙂

What are your thoughts? In favor of this? Yes or NO?

New Amsterdam: My New Favorite

 screenshot_10.png
I consider it one of my civic duties(ok maybe not) to share with you my totally unnessesary television opinions. Well get ready, because here comes another one. Most of you know I really dont like tv (yeah right) and I barely have any shows I even like (umm more like 15 favorites) and of course its not like I needed another favorite show to add to my list…but here it is! New Amsterdam.

From now on John Amsterdam will be accompanying me during my exciting time on the treadmill or bike. Yes thats right, in a hope to control my tv viewing and also up my exercise time, I will now be watching tv while exercising. And New Amsterdam will be my gym show of choice. I have been downloading the episodes to my new and amazing ipod and only will be watching them in the gym. Thats some good incentive right?

Anyways, I am a bit of a latecomer to this new show.  5 episodes have aired and I am just getting started on it. So now is your chance. Go download the episodes or watch them online and join with me in discussion about this new show.

PILOT EPISODE

John Amsterdam is a homicide detective in New York City. But that’s not all, he is also immortal. He saved a young girl in 1642 and she made him immortal. He can not die until he meets his true love and they are united as one. Ok, so I know it sounds a little bit cheezy, but it comes off as interesting in the show.  The homicides follow somewhat like any other cops/murder/csi type of show, but John seems to know extremely random things that apply to the case they are exploring. He is perplexing to his new partner Eva, who is still trying to figure him out.  The only person who knows John’s secret is a bartender named Omar. When he is chasing a murder suspect on the subway, he falls to the ground with a heart attack. He is taken to the hospital and pronounced dead by the doctor. Later he awakens, and realizes that his brief encounter with death must mean that his true love was somewhere in the vicinity that day. Its a police/murder show with a love story. Great entertainment.

One of the things I find most interesting about the show is the time. They show bits and pieces of many different time periods, and John has always lived in New York City. This one moment really won me over, they show John standing in front of photographs of Times Square, taken every single year. Oh how I wish I could really see that happen!

It is a great touch to add to this great show. I also enjoyed the music that was used. Calming songs that were somewhat old fashioned during flashbacks and yet fit seamlessly into the present-day scenes. I am headed to the gym tomorrow night to watch episode two. I will let you know how my second New Amsterdam experience goes later…. But give this one a shot! 🙂

American Idol & Dancing With The Stars: My Top 4!

It usually takes me a little while to pick my favorites for Idol. (Except last year…I was a Jordin supporter from Day 1) But now we are far enough into the competition to the point where I can easily pick out my favorites.

David Cook

Hands down the best in the competition. He is amazing. Tonight’s version of Billie Jean was groundbreaking. I think this performance alone puts him in the finale. He gets my votes. ALL of them.

Brooke White

I have to admit I sometimes am on the fence with her, but she really can sing. I love how much she seems to care about the competition. I definitely will be standing behind her and rooting her on.

This year is the first year I have even seen enough Dancing with the Stars to pick favorites. But really its not tough.

First of all…he is one attractive man! But he also can dance! He is very athletic and he moves so smoothly and gracefully it is so enjoyable to watch. I also love to see him interact with his beautiful partner Edyta.

Marlee Matlin

I am so amazed at her skill and musical ability. She is stunning to watch on the dance floor.

Who are you voting for???

Prison Break: Season 4…It is Official!

Nick Santora wrote on his blog: “So we got word on Wednesday that we are officially picked up by the network for Season 4. This is great news. We are all very excited.”

PopSugar.com‘s article Prison Break Just Keeps Escaping Cancellation says they were picked up for a full 22 episodes, and will be relocating from Dallas to Los Angeles.

Concert: Bon Jovi rocks MN!

jbj.jpg

Ok…I love concerts. Live Music is one my guilty pleasures…and I probably spend more money attending concerts every year than the average person. I just do. I love it.

Well the Bon Jovi concert was no disappointment to a seasoned concert attender like myself. I will go ahead and proudly proclaim it the BEST CONCERT I have EVER attended! The music was fun, of course…and who wouldnt love it? It was a great mix of songs from the classics (Livin on a prayer! Wanted! Its my Life!) and most of their new cd Lost Highway.

I was lucky enough to come across great tickets on Craigslist…the day of the concert! My friend Caitlin and I decided to go on a whim…literally at 8:30 am the day of the show. I found a seller(Thanks to Chad from Cottage Grove!) on Cragislist, we met him at 4:30 pm to pick them up, grabbed dinner and went to the show at 7:30. Let me tell you…it just adds to the excitement to do it spontaneously!

Bon Jovi are REAL rock stars. The concert was high energy and long enough to make it worth the price of admission. You can tell these guys have been rockin it for years and know what works. The transitions were seamless, they seemed to be having a great time, and were great at interacting with the crowd. The backdrop to the show was a series of moveable video/lighting panels. Watching them move and change for each song was amazing. Whoever directed & designed all the effects gets mad props from me!

One of the highlights was also a duet between Chris Daughtry (the opener) and Bon Jovi on the song Wanted. I think I got a video of that one. I will try to post it If I can.

I will try to post some more pics later too. But bottom line… if this show is coming to your city…I reccomend it! FREAKING AWESOME!

Visit: St. Paul’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

Sorry I have been so bad about posting lately! I was out of town and then just kind of got out of the habit of posting. I will be back on track now! 🙂

But the latest thing I have to reccomend to you all is the St. Paul St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Now, since it just happened you will have to wait until next year to attend. But here are a few pictures from this years parade. It was a blast…lots of very interesting characters were there…
